Boris Lutskiy was born in 1865 in the village near the town of Berdyansk.
In 1882 Boris successfully graduated from a technical school in Sevastopol,
after which he was sent to Germany to continue his education.
There he enrolled in the Institute of Technology in Munich.
While still a student, Lutskiy became one of the most promising development
of gas engines.
Upon graduation, Boris Lutskiy received a number of lucrative offers from
German companies for cooperation. At the 1890 Boris was invited to take
the place of the chief engineer in the "Nuremberg engineering company"
in Germany.
Over the next 6 years the inventor has established mass production of internal
combustion engines and developed several new experimental models.
In 1897 Boris Lutskiy moved to Berlin, where he began working in the company
Gesellschaft fur Automobil-Wagenbau.
In 1907, with the active participation of Boris Lutskiy was built by
an internal combustion engine capacity of 6 thousand Horsepower, intended
for the Russian destroyer "seen".
Lutskiy engaged in the development and aircraft engines.
During the First World War, Boris Lutskiy was arrested by the German authorities,
since he was a Russian citizen and came under suspicion of espionage.
Several years inventor spent in prison in Spandau and was released only
after signing a peace treaty. On the last years of Boris virtually nothing
is known, but its contribution to the development of the global and domestic
engineering is huge.
